Special Company Classification for Business Enterprise (e.g. MBE, WBE, DBE)

DBE, MBE, and WBE are acronyms for various federal, state, or local agency programs that provide contractual opportunities for disadvantaged, minority, and woman owned business enterprise. Below are steps on how to add such a classification in Corecon and categorize fims.

Set Up Business Enterprise Classification in Settings | Company Settings | Cost Codes

  1. Login to Corecon as an Admin.
  2. Click Settings (Gear Icon) at the top of the Main Menu.
  3. Click Company Settings | Cost Codes.
  4. Click the 'Add' button above the grid.
  5. In the grid footer, enter Business Enterprise Classification for the Classification Name.
  6. Click the 'Save' button below the grid.
  7. Click on the Classification Name (eg. Business Enterprise Classification) in the grid.
  8. Click the 'Add' button above the grid.
  9. Navigate to the grid footer.
  10. Enter DBE as the Code and Disadvantaged Busines Enterprise for the Description.
  11. Click 'Add Another Entry' link below the grid.
  12. Enter MBE as the Code and Minority Owned Busines Enterprise for the Description.
  13. Click 'Add Another Entry' link below the grid.
  14. Enter WBE as the Code and Woman Owned Busines Enterprise for the Description.
  15. Click the 'Save' button below the grid.

Assign DBE, MBE and WBE to Companies
