Transmittals Overview

A Transmittal is a form of communication document being sent from one party to another conveying an action to be taken on an item or group of items. In the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, Transmittals are often generated when sending drawings, submittals, changes, and progress invoices. With Corecon, special wizards are available to create a Transmittal for a group of Submittals or Drawings. Plus, the Transmittal feature has an optional Due Date that will appear in the Correspondence Calendar.

Steps To Complete Before Entering Transmittals

• Optional: Review the options list for
  • Transmittal Type
  • Transmitted For
  • Transmittal Sender
  These can be used for filtering or sorting records.
• Make sure all Companies that will be referenced in the Transmittal (From And To) are in the Project Directory.
