Inbound Emails

Typically, project related emails that are generated by Corecon and sent to outside team members will include a hyperlink and security code so the recipient can access the TeamLink Portal and respond accordingly. Although this is the preferred method since their response will be saved in the system automatically, it cannot be enforced because the recipient is more accustomed to replying via email. When this occurs, Corecon's Inbound Email Address will be used instead of the originator's standard business address so that the response will be routed back to Corecon. Emails that are sent to a Corecon address will appear in the Inbound Email feature (see Email module). The Corecon user would then process the email by linking it back to the original project record (eg. Journal, RFI, Submittal etc.).
