Add Estimate Wizard - Copy An Estimate

  1. Click the 'Lead' or 'Projects' icon on the left menu.
  2. Select the Lead or Project in the 'Quick Select' section. This will then refresh the page and show the 'Current Lead or Project Home' page.
  3. Click the 'Estimates and RFP Packages' link in the 'Quick Links' tab. This will refresh the page and show the 'Estimates Module Landing Page'.
  4. Click the blue 'Actions' button on the far right.
  5. Click 'Add Estimate' option from the drop-down menu.
  6. The Project Lead or Project should be selected already but can be changed.
  7. The Estimate # is auto-generated but can be changed.
  8. Enter the Estimate Title
    Important: Like Estimate #, Title must be unique if there are multiple estimates for the selected Lead or Project.
  9. Enter the Quantity and Units. The Quantity is typically the project size (ex. 3000 SqFt = 3000).
  10. Optional: Select the Reviewer (aka Estimating User) who will be reviewing the final estimate before sending out the Proposal.
  11. Optional: Select the Review Due Date.
  12. Optional: Click the 'Import' button to import the prospect or customer. Options listed will be firms that are in the Lead or Project Directory.
  13. Click the blue 'Save and Next' button in the footer.
  14. Select the 'Copy from another estimate' option.
    1. Select the Source Type (ex. Lead or Project). Source refers to where the original estimate or the one to be copied.
    2. Select Source Lead # or Project #.
    3. Select Source Estimate.
    4. Check the objects (data) to copy: Cost Codes, Locations, Items, Markups, RFP Packages etc.
  15. Click the blue 'Finish' button in the footer.
  16. Review the settings in the Estimate Properties Form. If changes need to be made such as 'Enable Locations', click the pencil icon next to 'Estimate Properties Details'.
  17. Click the 'View Estimate' link at the top right to view the Estimate Details.
