Estimate Locations Overview

Since Estimates can contain hundreds of items, they are organized or grouped into Cost Codes and optional Locations. Like Cost Codes, Locations can also come into play when printing the Estimate Proposal.

Important Things To Know

• Locations are estimate specific. Thus, locations can be different from project to project (ex. custom home, school, parking structure).
• Order # is a numeric field and determines how the Locatons will be listed. This can be reset globally for the estimate by selecting all Locatons and then clicking the 'Global Changes' button shown above the grid.
• Locations can be grouped using Internal Division and Major.
