Implementation Plan - Estimating - 03 - Estimates and RFP Packages

The esimating feature is almost a product unto itself. Thus, reviewing all estimating videos to understanding the basics of adding cost code sections, line items and global markups is required. In addition, it may be beneficial to create your first estimate for a particular lead or project using the Excel import option which creates cost code and line items. Global markups and RFP Packages can not be imported from Microsoft Excel.

Preparing RFP Packages is only needed if pricing on certain line items is questionable or unknown such as in the case where materials and services will be provided by subcontractors. There is one training video dedicated to this estimating sub-feature.
