Important Things To Know

POs and Subcontracts can not be issued unless there is an approved Prime Contract with a status date.
PO and Subcontract Items require a Job Cost Code reference.
POs eventually get converted to Bills using the PO to Bill Wizard when materials and/or equipment are provided to the job and suppliers have submitted an invoice.
Likewise, Sub Invoices are created for Subcontracts and SCOs (optional) when materials and services are provided to the job by subcontractors.
The Sub Invoice process will dynamically change depending on the subcontract type: fixed lump sum, cost plus or unit price. Thus, contract type is a very important field on the Subcontract form.

Bills and Sub Invoices can be exported to the accounting system such as Intuit QuickBooks, Sage 50 Canada and Xero using a CoreconLink utility.

1	Review Feature Settings \| Procurement: PO Types	View	View	Listing
2	Click the 'Projects' icon in the left navigation pane then select the current project (ex. job created in step 04) in the 'Quick Select' section. This will then redirect and show the 'Current Project Home' page.			Form
3	Click the 'Procurement' link in the 'Quick Links' tab under the 'Accounting and Project Management Departments' section.
4	Optional: Click the total record count link next to the Project Directory to ensure applicable suppliers and subcontractors are listed in the Project Directory. Note: The Project Directory is essentially a short list of firms involved on the project which includes the client, architect, your firm and vendors. Creating the Project Directory is simple as tagging firms from the contact management module for the selected project.	View	View	Form
5	Optional: Add Purchased Orders (PO) for material supplies or rental equipment	View	View	Form
