Resource Center - Analytics - Project Financials

A new Business Intelligence (BI) engine is now being used for Lead and Project Analytics which will provide superior insights into construction data and allow for more customization.

Important Things To Know

  • Information shown on BI Summary Dashboards and Detail Reports is dependent on the number of projects selected and the type of report.
    • Single Project Selected: Results by Project | Prime Contract | Job Cost Code
    • Multi-Projects Selected: Results by Project | Prime Contract
  • Transactions can be filtered by a Start and End Date. However, the Start Date filter will not be applied for Financial Dashboards that include Prime Contract Budgets or Change Orders (CO).
  • The following transaction dates are used when filtering.
    • Revenue:
      • Prime Contract: Status Date
      • COs: Status Date
      • Prime Invoices: Issue Date
    • Cost
      • POs: Status Date

  • Dashboard bar charts, heat maps and grids can be maximized and exported separately to Excel, PDF or JPeg formats. Note: Hover mouse over the right corner of control to view options.
  • Dashboard heat maps can be used to filter by Project|Prime or Job Cost Code depending on the number of projects selected.
  • Detail Cost Analytic Reports include sophisticated drill-in capabilities by cost code, division, owner code, transaction type, transaction resource and vendor.
  • If Dashboard labels or numeric fields appear cutoff, click the CTRL key and use the mouse's scroll wheel to adjust the browser resolution.
