Viewing Multi-Project Schedules in Gantt Style

  1. Click the 'Projects' icon on the left menu.
  2. Select the Project in the 'Quick Select' section. This will then refresh the page and show the 'Current Project Home' page.
  3. On the 'Quick Links' tab, click the 'Scheduling' link under the 'Project Management and Field Staff' section. This will refresh the page and show the 'Scheduling Landing Page'.
  4. Navigate to the 'Multi-Project Views' section at the top right.
  5. Click 'Active Projects - Schedules (Gantt Chart, Resources)' link.
  6. Each active project that has a schedule will be shown. Referenced dates are as follows.
    • Sch. Start and End: Th first and last task in the Schedule based on date.
    • Prime Est. Start and End: Estimated start and end date referenced in the Prime Contract. These dates will be shown only if the Schedule references a Prime Contract.
    • Prime Act. Start and End: Similar to Estimated Dates above but Actual.

Scheduling Gantt Views

  • Gantt - Shows Project Schedules in a horizontal bar time-frame. Thus, five project schedules would be five horizontal bars.
  • Resource - Shows Resources (ie. Company Contacts and Equipment) on the left and assigned Scheduling Tasks in a horizontal bar time-frame directly underneath.
  • Calendar - Shows tasks that are scheduled for the month along with their status: Not Started, In Progress, Completed

Important Thinks To Know

  • There are two sets of dates for a schedule: Baseline and Scheduled. The latter is used by default in the Gantt View and Task Calendars.
  • 'Global Changes' button on the Gantt Toolbar can do the following functions.
    • Copy Schedule Dates to Prime Contract Estimated Dates
    • Copy Schedule Dates to Prime Contract Actual Dates
