TeamLink User Outside Project Team Member Can be a login assigned to an outside project team member such as an architect, customer or vendor. TeamLink users are free and unlimited. TeamLink Portal

Important Things To Know

  • Administrators can add users, modify Standard and TeamLink security roles and set passwords.
  • Users are employees that have login credentials setup by the Admin.
  • There are two types users: Standard and Time/Expense.
    • Standard User Security Roles: Admin, Financial Admin, Estimator, Project Manager, Eng/Super or Custom.
    • Time/Expense User Security Role: Field
  • The Time/Expense Security Role (aka Field User) cannot be modified and has special monthly pricing. It is also applicable to individual license plans only.
  • Regardless of type of login or security role, each user can change his/her password.
  • TeamLink Portal Users are strictly for people outside the organization (ex. architects, customers and vendors).
  • There are no restrictions on the number of TeamLink Portal Users.

Standard and Time/Expense User Login Scenarios

Example 1

# of Standard User Licenses = 3
# of Time/Expense User Licenses = 0
Total # of Employees = 10
Result: 3 out of the 10 Employees can be added to the Standard Users listing and no Employees can be added to the Time/Expense section.

Example 2:

# of Standard User Licenses = 3
# of Time/Expense User Licenses = 4
Total # of Employees = 10
Result: 3 out of the 10 Employees can be added to the Standard Users listing and 4 of the remaining Employees can be added to the Time/Expense section.
