Invitation To Bid (ITB) Overview

The Invitation To Bid (ITB) feature is an email communication tool that can be used to announce an upcoming job opportunity to subcontractors and suppliers. Files uploaded in the Drawings and Specifications features can also be linked to the ITB so vendors can make an informed decision if they would like to participate. The primary purpose of the ITB is to gauge vendor's interest in the job opportunity and should not be confused with Request For Pricing (RFP) Packages where the vendor will actually submit pricing on items.

The ITB email alert generated from Corecon will include a hyperlink allowing the vendor to login to the TeamLink Portal. Within the portal, vendors will be able to review the bid due date and time, and linked drawings and specifications. In addition, the vendor can respond by clicking one of the options listed below.

How can vendors respond in the TeamLink Portal?

  • Private questions or comments can be documented for the bid captain or coordinator.
